Abstract:   (299 Views)
Electronic ceramics based on ZnO with small amounts of V2O5 as dopant were prepared by conventional powder processing route and sintered at 1000 °C for 2 hour. Microstructure of the samples was investigated by X-Ray and SEM.  It was observed that microstructure of the samples consists of ZnO grains as main phase. Further, density of the samples was increased with increase in V2O5 content. All of the prepared ceramics showed characteristic of non-ohmic current – voltage behavior. Non-linear coefficient was increased with increase in V2O5 content. The non-linear electrical behavior was explained considering formation of the potential barriers at grain boundaries.
